![]() It used to be that this picker appeared any time, in any cell that was formatted as a date. However, if you change the content of the cell by any means OTHER than the picker (like typing 9/7/17), the date picker is no longer accessible Click on the contents of the cell and the Date Picker will appear Will cell still highlighted, choose Insert > Date & Time The feature is still there, but it's no longer consistenly easy to access, especially in an ongoing fashion if you're doing lots of data entry - it's much handier than mousing into a cell, then putting both hands on the keyboard to do manual entry like "9/7/17". ![]() And forum answers like "you really don't need to do that" are not responsive.
